TB Fire Risk Management is proud to have supported the successful application for multiple Building Assessment Certificates (BACs) under the Building Safety Act 2022.
These certificates, issued by the Building Safety Regulator, are awarded to individual higher-risk buildings that demonstrate compliance with the Act’s requirements not to consultants or companies.
Our role has been to guide Principal Accountable Persons (PAPs) through the complex process of preparing Safety Case Reports, coordinating fire risk assessments, and ensuring that buildings meet the stringent standards introduced post-Grenfell.
Our contributions include:
- Developing Safety Case Reports tailored to each building.
- Advising on compartmentation, external wall systems, and PAS 9980 compliance.
- Supporting PAPs with mandatory occurrence reporting and safety claims.
- Engaging with fire engineers, regulators, and residents to ensure safety and transparency.
Director Tony Behan commented:
“The BAC is awarded to the building, but it reflects the collaborative effort between the PAP, TBFRM, and other stakeholders. We’re proud to have supported successful BAC applications for multiple buildings across the UK, helping clients meet their legal duties and improve resident safety.”
TBFRM continues to work with clients nationwide to deliver robust fire safety strategies and ensure compliance with evolving legislation.
